GUIDANCE: A-Zand he shall direct thy path." Proverbs 3:5-6 R
Acts 17:26-28 And hath made of one blood all
nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined
the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they
should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him,
though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move,
and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we
are also his offspring.
Ephesians 2:14-19 For he is our peace, who hath
made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between
us]; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments
[contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man,
[so] making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body
by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace
to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him
we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are
no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and
of the household of God.
Galatians 3:26-28 For ye are all the children
of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized
into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is
neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all
one in Christ Jesus.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd.
Deuteronomy 6:5-13 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, And houses full of all good [things], which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full; [Then] beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Thou shalt fear the LORD thy
God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in
them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of
me.
Psalms 1:2 But his delight [is] in the
law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalms 119:97 {MEM.} O how love I thy law! it [is]
my meditation all the day.
RESOLUTION
Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong
in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of
God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we
wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high [places]. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of
God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done
all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness. And your feet shod with
the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of
faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God; Praying always with all prayer and supplication
in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication
for all saints.
Joshua 1:6-11 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it [to] the right hand or [to] the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest. Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.
Deuteronomy 24:16 The fathers shall not be put
to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for
the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
Genesis 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain,
Where [is] Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: [Am] I my brother's
keeper?
Jeremiah 31:30 But every one shall die for
his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall
be set on edge.
Job 19:4 And be it indeed [that] I have
erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye
have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my
absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought
to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
REVENGE
Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear
any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself: I [am] the LORD.
Matthew 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye
resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn
to him the other also.
Matthew 5:43-48 Ye have heard that it hath been
said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto
you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that
hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh
his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just
and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have
ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren
only, what do ye more [than others]? do not even the publicans so? Be ye
therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure
ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Proverbs 15:1-4 A soft answer turneth away wrath:
but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge
aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. The eyes of the
LORD [are] in every place, beholding the evil and the good. A wholesome
tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness therein [is] a breach in the
spirit.
Proverbs 20:22 Say not thou, I will recompense
evil; [but] wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.
Romans 12:17-19 Recompense to no man evil for
evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible,
as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge
not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written,
Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
I Thessalonians 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any [man]; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all [men].
Colossians 1:15-17 Who is the image of the invisible
God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether
[they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things
were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him
all things consist.
Deuteronomy 9:18 And I fell down before the LORD,
as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread,
nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly
in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the
LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in
all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy
heart and with all thy soul,
Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees
unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom
which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably
with reverence and godly fear.
Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things]
under the earth.
Psalms 89:7 God is greatly to be feared
in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all [them
that are] about him.
Psalms 111:9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name.
I Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and
sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak [this] to your
shame.
Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness
shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance
for ever.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed [are] they which do
hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom
of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
you.
Matthew 10:41 He that receiveth a prophet
in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that
receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive
a righteous man's reward.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are]
just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever
things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be]
any praise, think on these things.
Proverbs 2:20 That thou mayest walk in the
way of good [men], and keep the paths of the righteous.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation:
but sin [is] a reproach to any people.
Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man
pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
Proverbs 15:29 The LORD [is] far from the wicked:
but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
Psalms 1:1-6 Blessed [is] the man that walketh
not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight [is] in the law
of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall
be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his
fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he
doeth shall prosper. The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff
which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the
judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD
knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Psalms 64:10 The righteous shall be glad
in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall
glory.
Psalms 106:3 Blessed [are] they that keep
judgment, [and] he that doeth righteousness at all times.
Psalms 112:4 Unto the upright there ariseth
light in the darkness: [he is] gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
I Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
Ephesians 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the
former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful
lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the
new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit
is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
I John 1:5-9 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin,
we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.
John 13:12-17 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord:
and ye say well; for [so] I am. If I then, [your] Lord and Master, have
washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have
given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily,
verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither
he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things,
happy are ye if ye do them.
Be
strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:
for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest. Then Joshua
commanded the officers of the people, saying, Pass through the host, and
command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days
ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the
LORD your God giveth you to possess it.
II Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and [in]
the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both
now and for ever. Amen.
I Peter 5:6-11 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because
your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom
he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same
afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But
the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ
Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish,
strengthen, settle [you]. To him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever.
Amen.
Proverbs 8:10-11 Receive my instruction, and
not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom [is] better
than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared
to it.
Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they [are] life unto those that
find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it [are] the issues of life.
Romans 12:1-21 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, [let us wait] on [our] ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, [let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. [Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. [Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
