GUIDANCE: A-Z
"Trust in the LORD
with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all
thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy
path." Proverbs 3:5-6
A
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to
record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death,
blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed
may live.
Exodus 21:22
If men strive, and hurt a woman
with child, so that her fruit depart [from her], and yet no mischief follow:
he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay
upon him; and he shall pay as the judges [determine].
Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed thee in the
belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified
thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for
to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life,
and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
John 15:1-8
I am the true vine, and my
Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he
taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that
it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which
I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot
bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except
ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in
me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye
can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch,
and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and
they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall
ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified,
that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Proverbs 5:18
Let thy fountain be blessed:
and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
Matthew 7:1-2
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure
ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Romans 15:7
Wherefore receive ye one another,
as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
I Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken
you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer
you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation
also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
Proverbs 23:20
Be not among winebibbers; among
riotous eaters of flesh: For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to
poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe [a man] with rags.
Proverbs 25:16
Hast thou found honey? eat
so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit
it.
Romans 1:24-25
Wherefore God also gave them
up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their
own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie,
and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed
for ever. Amen.
Romans 8:18-25
For I reckon that the sufferings
of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which
shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth
for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject
to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected [the
same] in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from
the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of
God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain
together until now. And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have
the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves,
waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body. For we
are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth,
why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, [then]
do we with patience wait for [it].
Hebrews 13:5
[Let your] conversation [be]
without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for
he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Isaiah 6:3
And one cried unto another,
and said, Holy, holy, holy, [is] the LORD of hosts: the whole earth [is]
full of his glory.
Psalms 95:6
O come, let us worship and
bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Psalms 115:1
Not unto us, O LORD, not unto
us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, [and] for thy truth's
sake.
Revelation 4:8
And the four beasts had each
of them six wings about [him]; and [they were] full of eyes within: and
they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
which was, and is, and is to come.
Deuteronomy 5:18
Neither shalt thou commit adultery.
Deuteronomy 22:23-24
If a damsel [that is] a virgin
be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with
her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and
ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she
cried not, [being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his
neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
Exodus 20:14
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Hebrews 13:4
Marriage [is] honourable in
all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Job 24:15-17
The eye also of the adulterer
waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth [his]
face. In the dark they dig through houses, [which] they had marked for
themselves in the daytime: they know not the light. For the morning [is]
to them even as the shadow of death: if [one] know [them, they are in]
the terrors of the shadow of death.
Leviticus 18:20
Moreover thou shalt not lie
carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.
Leviticus 20:10
And the man that committeth
adultery with [another] man's wife, [even he] that committeth adultery
with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely
be put to death.
Matthew 5:27-32
Ye have heard that it was said
by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you,
That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery
with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck
it out, and cast [it] from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one
of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast
into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast [it]
from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should
perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell.
It hath been said, Whosoever
shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: But
I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the
cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall
marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
Micah 2:1
Woe to them that devise iniquity,
and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise
it, because it is in the power of their hand.
Proverbs 5:1-14
My son, attend unto my wisdom,
[and] bow thine ear to my understanding: That thou mayest regard discretion,
and [that] thy lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman
drop [as] an honeycomb, and her mouth [is] smoother than oil: But her end
is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. Her feet go down to death;
her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life,
her ways are moveable, [that] thou canst not know [them].
Hear me now therefore, O ye
children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. Remove thy way far
from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: Lest thou give thine
honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: Lest strangers be filled
with thy wealth; and thy labours [be] in the house of a stranger; And thou
mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, And say, How
have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; And have not obeyed
the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed
me! I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and
assembly.
Proverbs 5:15-23
Drink waters out of thine own
cistern, and running waters out of thine own well. Let thy fountains be
dispersed abroad, [and] rivers of waters in the streets. Let them be only
thine own, and not strangers' with thee. Let thy fountain be blessed: and
rejoice with the wife of thy youth. [Let her be as] the loving hind and
pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished
always with her love. And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange
woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? For the ways of man [are]
before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings. His own iniquities
shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of
his sins. He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his
folly he shall go astray.
Proverbs 6:24-33
To keep thee from the evil
woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. Lust not after
her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
For by means of a whorish woman [a man is brought] to a piece of bread:
and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Can a man take fire
in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot
coals, and his feet not be burned? So he that goeth in to his neighbour's
wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.
[Men] do not despise a thief,
if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But [if] he be found,
he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
[But] whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he
[that] doeth it destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonour shall he
get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
Proverbs 25:19
Confidence in an unfaithful
man in time of trouble [is like] a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.
Revelation 2:21-23
And I gave her space to repent
of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into
a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except
they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and
all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and
hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
II Corinthians 1:3-4
Blessed [be] God, even the
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of
all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able
to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves
are comforted of God.
II Corinthians 4:8-10
[We are] troubled on every
side, yet not distressed; [we are] perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted,
but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in
the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might
be made manifest in our body.
II Corinthians 12:9-10
And he said unto me, My grace
is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most
gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power
of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in
reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's
sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Ecclesiastes 7:3
Sorrow [is] better than laughter:
for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.
Ecclesiastes 7:14
In the day of prosperity be
joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one
over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
Hebrews 13:3
Remember them that are in bonds,
as bound with them; [and] them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves
also in the body.
Isaiah 30:20
And [though] the Lord give
you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not
thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see
thy teachers.
Isaiah 42:3
A bruised reed shall he not
break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment
unto truth.
Isaiah 48:10
Behold, I have refined thee,
but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
James 1:2-3
My brethren, count it all joy
when ye fall into diverse temptations; Knowing [this], that the trying
of your faith worketh patience.
Job 5:17-18
Behold, happy [is] the man
whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.
Job 5:18
For he maketh sore, and bindeth
up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
John 16:33
These things I have spoken
unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Joshua 1:6-11
Be strong and of a good courage:
for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which
I sware unto their fathers to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my
servant commanded thee: turn not from it [to] the right hand or [to] the
left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
This book of the law shall not
depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good
success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be
not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee
whithersoever thou goest. Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people,
saying, Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare
you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to
go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess
it.
Matthew 10:16-39
Behold, I send you forth as
sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless
as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils,
and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought
before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and
the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what
ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall
speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which
speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death,
and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against [their]
parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all
[men] for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily
I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till
the Son of man be come. The disciple is not above [his] master, nor the
servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his
master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of
the house Beelzebub, how much more [shall they call] them of his household?
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be
revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness,
[that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach ye
upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not
able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both
soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one
of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very
hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more
value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men,
him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever
shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is
in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not
to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against
his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law
against her mother in law. And a man's foes [shall be] they of his own
household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of
me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy
of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life
for my sake shall find it.
Romans 5:1-5
Therefore being justified by
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also
we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in
hope of the glory of God. And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations
also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience;
and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of
God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto
us.
I Peter 1:6-7
Wherein ye greatly rejoice,
though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold
temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than
of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto
praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
I Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, think it not strange
concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange
thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's
sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also
with exceeding joy.
I Peter 5:9
Whom resist stedfast in the
faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren
that are in the world.

seek thee.

O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust [in thee]
from those that rise up [against them].
Psalms 24:10
Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts, he [is] the King of glory. Selah.

the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art]
with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

{To the chief Musician for
the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.}

a very present help in trouble.

of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Cast thy burden upon the LORD,
and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psalms 119:71
[It is] good for me that I
have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Psalms 126:6
He that goeth forth and weepeth,
bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing
his sheaves [with him].
Hebrews 13:5-6
[Let your] conversation [be]
without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for
he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may
boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall
do unto me.
Joshua 1:6-11
Be strong and of a good courage:
for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which
I sware unto their fathers to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my

Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill
the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which
is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Psalms 34:4
I sought the LORD, and he heard
me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalms 46:1
{To the chief Musician for
the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.}
God [is] our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:2
Therefore will not we fear,
though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the
midst of the sea.
II Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the
spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Ecclesiastes 7:9
Be not hasty in thy spirit
to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
Ephesians 4:26
Be ye angry, and sin not: let
not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let
him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his]
hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which
is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day
of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and
evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one
to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's
sake hath forgiven you.
James 1:19
Wherefore, my beloved brethren,
let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
Job 5:2
For wrath killeth the foolish
man, and envy slayeth the silly one.
Matthew 5:22
But I say unto you, That whosoever
is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:
and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the
council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell
fire. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest
that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before
the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then
come and offer thy gift.
Proverbs 14:29
[He that is] slow to wrath
[is] of great understanding: but [he that is] hasty of spirit exalteth
folly.
Proverbs 15:1-4
A soft answer turneth away
wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge
aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. The eyes of the
LORD [are] in every place, beholding the evil and the good. A wholesome
tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness therein [is] a breach in the
spirit.
Proverbs 16:32
[He that is] slow to anger
[is] better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that
taketh a city.
Proverbs 19:11
The discretion of a man deferreth
his anger; and [it is] his glory to pass over a transgression.
Proverbs 22:24
Make no friendship with an
angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go.
Proverbs 30:32-33
If thou hast done foolishly
in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, [lay] thine hand upon
thy mouth. Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing
of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth
strife.
Psalms 37:8
Cease from anger, and forsake
wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea,
I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled:
ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my
peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not
your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Joshua 1:6-11
Be strong and of a good courage:

Mark 4:19
And the cares of this world,
and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering
in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
Matthew 6:19-34
Lay not up for yourselves treasures
upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through
and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither
moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor
steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light
of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body
shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall
be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness,
how great [is] that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either
he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one,
and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say
unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye
shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life
more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the
air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet
your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field,
how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto
you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and
to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you,
O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we
eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For
after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father
knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom
of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take
thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil
thereof.
I Peter 5:6-7
Humble yourselves therefore
under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting
all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but
in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests
be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 12:25
Heaviness in the heart of man
maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
Psalms 46:1
(To the chief Musician for
the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.)
God [is] our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the
earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of
the sea; [Though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the
mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. [There is] a river, the
streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy [place] of the
tabernacles of the most High. God [is] in the midst of her; she shall not
be moved: God shall help her, [and that] right early. The heathen raged,
the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD
of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. Selah. Come, behold
the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh
wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth
the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and
know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted
in the earth. The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our
refuge. Selah.
Romans 5:1-5
Therefore being justified by
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also
we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in
hope of the glory of God. And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations
also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience;
and experience, hope; And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of
God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto
us.

Job 12:24-25
He taketh away the heart of
the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness
[where there is] no way. They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh
them to stagger like [a] drunken [man].

and the Son.
John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into
the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be
saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth
not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God.
John 8:47
He that is of God heareth God's
words: ye therefore hear [them] not, because ye are not of God.

But he that denieth me before
men shall be denied before the angels of God.

He that believeth and is baptized
shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

of his countenance, will not seek [after God]: God [is] not in all his
thoughts.
Psalms 14:1
(To the chief Musician, [A
Psalm] of David.)
The fool hath said in his heart,
[There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there
is] none that doeth good.
Romans 1:18
For the wrath of God is revealed
from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold
the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is
manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them. For the invisible
things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood
by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that
they are without excuse.
