If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.  John 7:17-18
THE LIE OF THE RAPTURE

By: Kurt Boulter
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to
continue in the faith, and that we must through much
tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Acts 14:22

Lets start by saying that the word RAPTURE is not even in the bible, even as the word Trinity is not. Yes, I believe in the One TRUE Living God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost all being One God in three persons. This is called the Godhead. The word rapture has been imbedded into the christian vocabulary ever since a false doctrine started in the 1800's and people were deceived and believed a lie by a so called new revelation. The Lord said that there would be,

"...many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many." Matthew 24:11

and,

"For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect." Mark 13:22

It is well acknowledged and spoken of by many that we are now in the END TIMES, for the signs are all around us. The falling away is greatly upon us, where the church has gone a whoring after false gods such as money and the like, and seeking after signs such as speaking in tongues, healings, seeking men and their wisdom and abandoning the true God of all things, the Lord Jesus Christ, for all things were made by Him,

"And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:" Ephesians 3:9

We are to,

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." II Timothy 2:15

In knowing this, for it is written, meaning with absolute assurity, "God said!, for,

"Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart." Psalm 119:2

"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Luke 11:9,

for

"If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?" Luke 11:11.

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."John 8:32

So if we STUDY the Word of God, being the King James Version, and we SEEK Him with our WHOLE HEART, for the Lord God knows mens hearts,

"He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart." Psalm 15:2.

Knowing this, studying and seeking the Truth in the Word, with a heart of truth, the Lord our God shall not give unto us a stone or a serpent, but shall remove the scales from the eyes and present thee with the bread of life that is in His Truth and Word. The scriptures are given by God so we as sons unto the Father may know, by the power of God through the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth, that we may know what is Truth and what is deception. The Lord Jesus Christ is the bread of life and our salvation. His blood covers a multitude of sins for,

"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief" I Timothy 1:15

The Lord has led to many who say, "I can't wait to be taken up and away from the terrible things that are to come!" or "I don't deserve to go through the tribulation! " or "The rapture is in the bible, the church will be taken away before the judgement of the Lord!" Lets take a look at the last comment.

1. The word rapture is NOT in the bible.

2. The judgement of the Lord God is NOT the tribulation.

Many people get these two mixed up, the first is,

" ...the great and the terrible day of the LORD..." Joel 2:31

This being judgement day, where the Lord God shall judge the wicked of the earth (we will discuss this further on) and secondly:

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." Matthew 24:21

The great tribulation. These are two separate events and should be regarded as such. If we take a careful look at the scriptures and read them as they are, not shuffling them to make them say what some want to hear, but reading the Word of Truth, being led by the Spirit of Truth, so we may know those things that are to come, we will be shown that, as it is written, soto it shall come to pass, and as it is written.

THE RAPTURE

The RAPTURE, as it is so commonly preached, has three different groups of followers.

PRE-tribulation rapture: is supposed to be when Jesus Christ returns and takes His church, or His children from this earth before the great seven year tribulation period begins. This belief is most common because they feel that they will be taken away before anything really terrible happens. This doctrine is NOT supported by scripture. Many will throw scripture up and their understanding of this belief, yet in Truth, their argument holds no water, or is like trying to contain water with cloth or even as grasping at the air.

MID-tribulation rapture: This doctrine is convinced that they, "...shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:" I Thessalonians 4:17. We will, but not when they say. The mid-tribbers, as they are called, believe that they will be taken half way through or three and a half years into the great tribulation. Once again, just before anything too terrible happens. This doctrine is also NOT supported by the Word of God.

POST-tribulation rapture: This is the last of three beliefs that has sound, solid scripture to exhort the church and the children of God. If anyone has read Hebrews, they will be shown that we as followers of the living God must be willing to endure all things for the names sake of the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the perfect example of the love we are to have for God and our brethren, for,

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:13.

In this, the post-tribbers, I still like not the word rapture used for it is not given to us by God, but by man as a word used to lure people from the Truth that is in the Lord our God, but this Truth that is testified to is not of man but of the Lord. Notice how one word has brought so much dissension into the ranks of the fellow labourers for Christ?

This movement, who speak of the RAPTURE is not supported by the scriptures and is not of God. If we look at the scriptures, the Lord points very specifically to a time when He shall return, this being the SECOND coming, but this takes place AFTER the great tribulation. He does not say that He will come a second and a third time, but only a second, for it is written,

"But in those days, AFTER that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." Mark 13:24-26.

So the Lord Himself has said that He will come after the tribulation and this is the one and ONLY second coming.

But people are saying, "Well what about, the two people in the field, and He will come as a thief in the night, and looking to the sky for our blessed Hope?" Yes, these are all in the scriptures, but these all refer to when the Lord Jesus Christ returns. Man tends to take a little here and a little there and come to his own conclusions on what will come to pass, yet we are to heed the words of the Lord,

"For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:" Isaiah 28:10.

Man treats the scriptures like this interactive TV that man is raving about, being able to choose your own ending if you weren't happy with the first one. It is written,

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" II Timothy 3:16

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation."
II Peter 1:20

Know this, the wisdom of God is Truth, man should hearken unto the Father and not unto the sons of men for there are many false teachers who seek others to follow in their folly and to confirm their words.

Judge what I say, for I ask thee not to trust me, but to truth in the Lord your God, for blessed is the man who puts his trust in the Lord. All that is written here is easily confirmed by the hungry heart who is willing to STUDY in Truth seeking the Lord God of all things, for if ye seek the Lord, thou shalt find the Lord Jesus Christ sitting on His right hand side. This being said, we shall return unto the question of, "How could I have been deceived by a lie such as the rapture." As it was said before, every word the Lord Jesus Christ spoke of concerning His coming, referred to the end times or the end of the world, for did He not send His disciples out into the world to preach the gospel of Christ and the warn of those things to come in saying, "The kingdom of heaven is nigh!"??

"....I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world...." John 17.

There is much that the Lord Jesus Christ has said in this one chapter of the book of John that explains very clearly, to those who have an ear, what is, what was and what is to come. But firstly we shall show thee, "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." Christ prayed that our Father should not take us but that He should keep us from the evil. Also in this chapter Jesus Christ speaks in the first, second and third person, stating that, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." Remember, the Lord Jesus Christ was filled with the Holy Ghost,

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." John 14:16-17

and

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26

and

"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:" John 15:26

The Comforter, being the Holy Ghost, shall not testify of Himself, but of the Lord Jesus Christ and come in His name proclaiming the gospel of Christ and the doctrine of the Father in heaven. So the Lord has given unto those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, being the risen Son of the living God and Father of our beloved Saviour, He has given the Holy Ghost, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth who testifies of the Lord Jesus Christ and the kingdom of heaven that is near upon us. With the so called rapture, people say that they are going to be taken away from those things to come, yet the Lord Himself said,

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33.

One of the most repeated promises of the Lord is,

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10.

Yet we must also remember that,

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7.

So be ye wise and fear the Lord your God.

One of the arguments that man gives of the Pre-tribulation rapture being true, is that in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the church is spoken of in the first three chapters and then is not mentioned until chapter 22. If one would read the scriptures being led by the Holy Ghost, the eyes of the blind are opened to see that our Saviour has given a warning unto these seven churches that are to go through all of these things that are to come. The church of Philadelphia is the only church the Lord does not rebuke, for they are those who trust only in the Lord as their King and seek only to do what is good in the eyes of God and not what is good in their own eyes. Tribulation is likened unto boot camp used by the army. As it is written,

"So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen."
Matthew 20:16.

When thousands sign up for the arm, even for the special forces, they are put through rigorous training, combat simulation, they are pushed to the very edges of human endurance. Why is this? So they shall get those who are dedicated, those who will go through anything and everything to complete the training that is required to be accepted, to be the best of the best, as they say.

Do you think being a soldier for Christ is any different? We are saved by grace, but soto,

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." II Timothy 2:3.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;" II Timothy 4:3.

The Lord Jesus Christ hath said of the tribulation, for it is written,

"And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days." Mark 13:20.

Notice He said, "but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen," If the Lord has shortened the days for the sake of His elect, and this period spoken of is the TRIBULATION, and people who believe in the RAPTURE say that the elect will be taken, then who is the Lord talking of? Many are saying, "Those who come to Christ AFTER we are taken up!" This is a false assumption and has no grounds or weight, and is not supported by scripture. For if ALL of the elect, the TRUE disciples, the TRUE pastors, the TRUE followers were taken from this earth, who would be left to testify of the living God and the Lord Jesus Christ? You would have total choas, even more than there is today with all of the cults and sects leading the blind into ditch after ditch,

"...And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." Matthew 15:14.

As chosen of the Lord our God, as the disciples were chosen by the hand of His precious Son the Lord Jesus Christ, thus given unto Him by the Father, the Lord shall, "shortened those days" so those who are willing to endure all manner of persecution, hardship, TRIBULATION, shall be counted amongst the saints. The wicked who repent not of their wickedness that they so wickedly do shall be judged for their sin, but the chosen and elect of the Lord our God, the TRUE followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who contend for the faith, they shall be judged by their works. No, we are not saved by works,

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

but of good works for the Father shall the righteous be judged.

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and jointheirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 7:17

Another argument for the rapture is that our Lord said that He would come as a thief in the night,

"Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." Revelation 16:15

then they add,

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." Matthew 24:36

and then they grab this one for in their own eyes it is good measure,

"I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left."
Luke 17:34-36.

Why does not man see what is under his nose? For we were all blind but now we see, we were deaf yet now we hear, for by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ are we set free and have been redeemed unto the Father by the Son. Amen.

Let us reason together. The Lord Jesus Christ said many times, "WATCH! therefore..." for if we do not watch how then can we see? We are always to be vigilant, continually watching as the watchman upon the tower, ready to warn those within the city of the tribulation that shall befall those who are asleep.

"But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up." Matthew 24:43.

"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it." Luke 9:24

For it is written,

"Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:" II Corinthians 5:6.

So if you love your life on this earth and do not watch walking in your own righteousness the hour shall approach,

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." I Thessalonians 4:16-18

That last verse is also often used to point out the rapture, yet if read in Truth, it is the second coming of Christ and the terrible day of the Lord, for they are the same day, were the earth shall find her reward at the judgement seat of Christ.

I pray that all of you shall come to know the Father by the Lord Jesus Christ His precious Son and that those who have an ear shall hear, for blessed is the man who seeks the Lord and finds Him. In the name of God Almighty, the Father of all things and the Lord Jesus Christ who is and was and is to come. Holy, holy, holy is the name of the Lord our God. Amen.

Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house
for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
II Chronicles 6:7

CONCLUSION

Many are firmly set in their understanding of the things that are to come and shall not be swayed by even the Truth that is in the infallible Word of God and is spoken of by our first love, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are to stay watching as our Saviour commanded us to do, awaiting that day when we shall see our blessed hope, even the Lord ascending from the clouds with a trump and ten thousand of His angels.

The LIE OF THE RAPTURE is a subject that does not sit well with those who think that they will be taken away from any tests or trials or even a little tribulation. People say that they have gone through enough in this life, yet what is enough? There are very few who have endured the likes of Abraham, Moses, Elias, Isaias, Jeremias, John the Baptist, the Apostles and to our beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who endured and gave all, ESPECIALLY of His precious life for the whole world. Do we deserve to be taken away from those things that bring us even closer to the Lord our God? For tribulation worketh the patience of Christ. Our strength is in the Lord, He is our rock and our Salvation. The Lord God's staff and His rod are our comfort. Did all of those who came before us deserve any less than we, in running the race to receive the reward that is in heaven? Nay, for they ran and won, they reached for the line that is death with Christ, for the race is worth running and the prize of eternal life in the presence of our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ is the prize and reward that has no price, for it's value is beyond calculation. I know in myself, in the new heart that is given unto us when we receive the gift of salvation, that I am not worthy to receive the grace of the Lord, for a sinner am I, I am nothing and am but dust, yet my Lord has stretched out His Almighty hand and given me peace that is only knowing Him and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved." Matthew 10:22

"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it." Luke 9:24

"Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:" II Timothy 2:10-12

Are we to deny the Word of the living God, in the hope that what WE would have happen, come to pass, for some fear those things that are to come and are not willing to give ALL unto the Lord, even our very lives which we, I pray, have given unto the Lord God by the ransom that has been payed for us by the Lord Jesus Christ? Godforbid, for many a fool hath spoken with his lips that which he was not able to complete and the Lord takes no pleasure in fools. Take heed unto the Words of eternal life that are from the Lord Jesus Christ, for we who have endured until the end and testified unto the sons of men the name of the Lord for His glory, for,

"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." John 14:10

"Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thoupartaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;"
II Timothy 1:9.

"I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake." I John 2:12

I Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are ALIVE AND REMAIN UNTO the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 THEN we which are ALIVE AND REMAIN shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Sound doctrine FOR going THROUGH the tribultion for the name sake of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Father, for the greater glory of the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. (emphisis mine)

Matthew 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. (emphisis mine)

Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29 Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (emphisis mine)

Matthew 25:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint himhis portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mark 13:4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? 5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. 10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations. 11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. 12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: (NOTE: forget ALL of your worldly goods for they are come to nought.) 16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. 17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. 19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved:but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. 21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: 22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the ELECT. 23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. 24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And THEN shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. 28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: 29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. 30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. 31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. 22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 IN THAT DAY, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. (emphisis mine)

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (emphisis mine)

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. (emphisis mine)

Romans 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God. (emphisis mine)

Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (emphisis mine)

Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; (emphisis mine)

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

II Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. (emphisis mine)

II Corinthians 7:4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. (emphisis mine)

II Corinthians 12:5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. 6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (emphisis mine)

Ephesians 3:13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. 14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. (emphisis mine)

I Thessalonians 3:3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. 4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know. (emphisis mine)

I Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (emphisis mine)

II Thessalonians 1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations THAT YE ENDURE: 5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: 6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; 7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: (emphisis mine)

Revelation of Jesus Christ 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful UNTO DEATH, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Revelation of Jesus Christ 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (emphisis mine)

Revelation of Jesus Christ 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. (emphisis mine)

Revelation of Jesus Christ 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. (emphisis mine)

Revelation of Jesus Christ 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (emphisis mine)

There are many, many more, so, search the scriptures daily and study to find thyself approved unto God by RIGHTLY dividing the Word of Truth and not taking heed to jewish fables nor the commandments or traditions of men. In the patience and the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

ENCOURAGEMENT IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. 7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? 8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? 9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. 10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. (emphisis mine)

Luke 12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 35 Let your loins be girded about, and yourlights burning; 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Luke 17:29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
